Nail 'em up, I say! Nail some sense into 'em!

The latest in the drama of Cobell v. Norton had the U.S. Circuit Court ordering the Department of the Interior to pay plaintiff's attorneys fees, to the tune of $7 million. The DOI has graciously elected to scrape together the money by looting Indian programs. According to associate deputy interior secretary Jim Cason "This was not a Park Service or a Fish and Wildlife problem, it's an Indian problem."

Man, I haven't seen the words "Indian problem" in print for a while.

According to the article, "[t]he Indian plaintiffs called the decision a "devious and deceptive" attempt to punish Indians for winning in court."

No shit.
